We are officially entering the Critchley family "Birthday Season" and I would like to wish three very special ladies of my family a very Happy Birthday!
Although I am a male, I am still smart enough to not publically announce the ages of these fine ladies, I will say that I have placed the photo's in chronicalogical order and I will let you figure out the order.
Kathy's special day is Feb 16th
Sue's special day is Feb 11th
Naomi's special day is Feb 17th
In celebration of your birthdays I had a Snickers Bar for breakfast this morning.....not sure why there was a huge beautiful tray of chocolate bars at the breakfast buffet this morning....but I have become very accustomed to life in Kabul and learned not to question everything and enjoy what you have in front of you and more importantly, to enjoy the moment....because it is fleeting and does not last.
So the above is my way of saying to please enjoy your birthdays and do something to make your day special and memorable!
Big hugs and kisses from your loving brother and uncle....
ps: I see on my previous post the Birthday Season extends all the way to Australia and Shell just celebrated her 24th birthday....funny, I think both Kathy and Sue are turning 24 as well.
Fantastic blog Dave.

ReplyDeleteWell Dave thank you very much for the birthday wishes from far away. We did have a couple of bday's in January. We had Dad's and Victoria's. I think our family has birthday's in every month but one, which is March. We are going to be doing something nice. Mom wants us all to go out for lunch. So now we are just planning a day.

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to all the "Blogette's"
I found it interesting that Heckle and Jeckyl wanted to watch a TV show called "The Greatest Loser". After about 30 minutes they worked out that it was a weight loss show.
The good thing about kids is that you can tell them the very old jokes and get a laugh. In their school list, there was a kid called "Jose" and they were struggling to pronounce. I told them it was likely that the boy was spanish and it should be pronounced "Hose a". they looked at the surname and decided that it was Spanish. So I told them to look for his twin, "Hose B". I even got a laugh. Still not cool but I got a laugh!!
Then I told them the old Eddie Murphy joke about the bear in the woods squatting next to the rabbit. You remember it don't you. If you have forgetten, I will type it again, but it will take a while. That joke got a huge laugh.
Keep smiling
Just Dazza going back to work now.
I am stupid..Sarah had to explain that Hose joke
